Well it is that time of the year again. The May 1st averages that go into the book are due to us by May the 10th. It is very important that everyone you have in your league gets her average in the book. We only need 21 games or more & averages, total pins is not required. If you find one of your bowlers is not listed make sure they have turned in a Certification card or they will not be included in this years Yearbook.
On June 28, 2008 there will be a very important meeting held. We will need your vote to select the new merged board & directors. We want it to be your choice so please make an effort to be there.
We also are glad to report that we gave a check to the veterans for more than $19,517 & hopefully we will get even better next year. Times are changing & we will be having a lot more injured veterans as time goes on. We must never forget those who give so much.
Last but not least I want to thank of you that helped out in Bowl for the Cure Kick-Off. You donated your time & money to help us find a cure. We raised a total of $24,164 & believe me we could not have done it without you. It is great to come even closer to a cure for this dreadful disease.
It has been a pleasure serving you these last five years. We do not know what the future will bring, but the one thing we all agree on is that we love bowling.
Thanks again for all you do!!

WORDS FROM OUR ASSOCIATION 
Here it is 2007. Half of our bowling season is over. Now is the time to look forward to the various Tournaments. The Following events are coming up. Bowl for the Cure-February 2, 2007. Women’s City Tournament – February 17,18,24,25and March 3,4, 2007. Deadline for Texas State Women’s Tournament-(held in Ft Worth) March 1,2007 Hope all will try to attend these various events. Call the Women’s office for any questions (972-274-4433) We urge all to attend the Bowl for the Cure. Lots of fun, items in the silent auction to be had and various items will be auctioned off in a live auction. But most important is the funds that will be raise to support the fight for Breast Cancer Cure. On April 14, 2007 the Annual Meeting will be held to elect the following officers and directors for the coming year of the Dallas USBC WBA. (President, 2
nd Vice President, Sgt-at-Arms and 12 directors. Delegates from the Dallas USBC WBA will be attending the National Convention, which is being held in Nashville, Tn on March 28-31, 2007. It will be the first election of the New USBC National Board and consider legislation concerning the governance of the USBC. They will be attending various workshops while there. Ladies we seem to have made it through the holidays again. It is back to work again. The Senior Queens Classic has been postponed to February 17, 2007at Showplace Garland . We have Bowl For The Cure on February 2, 2007at Rowlett Bowl A Rama, get your team together. Next ladies ,we have the Annual 2007 Championship Tournament. We have added A Scratch Division to run with your Handicap Division. We need all your support to get the Tournament back to where it used to be. Now Ladies to the sad news we have lost two loyal friends of bowling. Jean Padilla a Life Member, long supporter of bowling. Betty Anders was a long time bowler & league secretary of the Friday Fun Bunch at Big Town. We all send our condolences to their family at this sad time. They will surely be missed. I wish you all Health, Wealth & A 300 game!!!
